The Chessmen

The House of Staunton is proud to offer another masterpiece - The Leuchars Timeless Series Chessmen. Part of our Timeless Collection, it is an exact reproduction of the Jaques of London Chessmen Circa 1849 Leuchars Staunton Pattern Chessmen. These Chessmen feature a 3.5" King with a 1.7" Diameter base and are very heavily weighted. These Chessmen are an exact match to the original Chessmen, down to the smallest details!

THE CHESSBOARD

Crafted in Spain, the House of Staunton Superior Traditional Elm Burl / Bird's Eye Maple wooden Chessboard features Elm Burl (dark) and Bird's Eye Maple (light) squares with a Elm Burl frame. This veneered Chessboard is 0.5" thick, has a satin finish and a beautiful moulded edge.

THE CHESSBOX

The Small Red Burl Chess Box is lined in green velour, divided and features brass quadrant hinges and a large brass clasp and is designed for Chessmen with King height less than 3.5" tall. It comes with or without the House of Staunton logo engraved on the lid.
