The House of Staunton is proud to offer the Teramo Series Chess set. A full club-sized Chess set, it features a 4.4" King with a 2.0" diameter base. The Chess pieces are hand carved by our master artisans and crafted out of the highest grade woods. The Chess pieces are heavily weighted with luxurious billiard cloth base pads and a beautiful finish.

What is an imperfect item?

Imperfect consists of items that are deemed below the House of Staunton's already high quality standards.  Because these products do not meet or exceed our inspection standards, we are able to pass enormous savings to you!

The inspection report for this set details the following defects:

• The Blood Rosewood King is cracked on the base (As seen in photographs).

• The Blood Rosewood Knights don't match (As seen in photographs).

• The Blood Rosewood Bishops have scratches on the side (As seen in photographs).

• The Blood Rosewood Rook has a small crack on the base (As seen in photographs).

• The Blood Rosewood Pawns have chips/cracks (As seen in photographs).

• The Natural Boxwood King has marks on the base (As seen in photographs).

• The Natural Boxwood Queen has a minor dark line on the base (As seen in photographs).

• The Natural Boxwood Knights do not match one another (As seen in photographs).

• There may be other minor imperfections not pictured.
