Fidelity 2265 Master Chess Computer
ABOUT THIS COMPUTERÂ
This is a very rare chess computer that is mint condition. Even though it is very old, It has only been played with twice - once by Frank Camaratta when determining it's official playing strength for the Computer Rating Association (CRA) in the early 1990s and then last week when we tested it to make sure that it worked. We played two complete games with it without problem - it  defeated by a 2000-rated USCF player twice in our office. It has been kept in its original box for all of those years in a smoke-free environment, away from sunlight and other things that could damage the finish.
The computer is in tremendous shape, as iit has been in storage at the House of Staunton for many years, and now we're making it available to one very lucky collector! You'll NEVER find this computer available in such terrific shape. We only have one, unfortunately, so good luck with your bidding!
The box that this computer comes with is NOT the original packaging. We believe that this particular computer was one of the original prototypes of this model of computer and it was provided to the CRA in the packaging for one of their other (and less powerful models). Please keep this in mind when bidding.
Any Questions? Just Ask! Bid with Confidence at the House of Staunton.Â
