Â Crafted in the Gothic sculpture style of European cathedrals, each piece has stylized etails, from the flowing robes of the King to the dramatic full-bodies Knights atop their steeds as they charge into battle, each piece adds layers of prestige and drama to the board!
Crafted out of unglazed blue and natural porcelain, the texture and weight of each piece adds luxury and timelessness to the chessmen, creating a set that will be used and treasured for years to come. Each piece features a leather basepad handsigned by master porcelain artisan Robert Rowley, who proudly crafts each set in the USA.
The Chessmen are new and each set consists of 34 Chessmen, including four Queens, a standard that was introduced by The House of Staunton in 1993.
